I have a couple of needs:

1. To access the GUI of an ipstar iCON modem from Linux and;
2. To log data from that modem to a Linux system.
Unfortunately, despite the assertion of compatibility at <http://www.ipstar.com.au/product.htm>, none of the available Web browsers has proved compatible.

As my needs are far from exotic, I presume relevant software is available. Can you provide or recommend suitable Linux software? Source code will suffice.

Failing that, can you provide interface specifications, so I can have software developed? In particular, I'll need details of the peculiarities of the iCON GUI: despite extensive testing, we've not been able to get it to work on anything but Microsoft Internet Explorer.
